About Us
GAIA FIRST is a non-profit organisation striving to take on major environmental challenges. Through targeted actions, we aim to reduce the adverse impact of human activity on our environment.
The name of our association originates in ancient Greek mythology where Gaia - the Ancient Greek divinity personifying the Earth - gave life to the sky, the sea and the mountains, in short, the beauty and life - giving nature that has allowed mankind to flourish.
Our ambition is to put the interests of our planet (Gaia) first. We wish to be a key player in a changing society where an increased focus on environmental preservation lets its benefits be felt by our current and future generations.
